Established in 1978 in Carmen, North Cotabato, Carmen National High School (CNHS) is a public educational institution committed to providing a quality, fair, culture-based, and comprehensive basic education. The school's mission is to develop graduates who are intellectually and technologically competent.

CNHS offers a diverse range of educational programs, including the Special Program in the Arts, the Special Science Program (formerly Science Technology Engineering), and the Special Program in Sports. These specialized programs cater to students with specific interests and talents, enhancing their overall educational experience.

The school adheres to the K to 12 basic education curriculum mandated by the Department of Education (DepEd). This curriculum encompasses both junior and senior high school levels, offering Academic tracks such as ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), and GAS (General Academic Strand). Additionally, CNHS provides a Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) track, which equips students with technical skills necessary for their chosen careers in senior high school.

Through its comprehensive curriculum and specialized programs, Carmen National High School aims to prepare students effectively for their future endeavors, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in a competitive global environment.
